Having trouble loading Recent Changes?  While Recent Changes is a helpful tool providing users with a global view of recent activity, it requires an expensive query on the back end of MindTouch.  Every time the page is loaded, the database must be queried, and a diff is processed between the latest change and the last revision.

To help with the processing of this function, we have implemented an optional caching configuration for Recent Changes.  This configuration should take a few moments to set in place, and will provide caching of diffs between revisions, as well as overall caching for the changes listed on the page.  Ultimately, you should see increased performance when loading Recent Changes.  For more exact steps on this process, please take a look at the documentation here.
